- It is easy to be grateful for things that are obviously GOOD and have a complaining heart towards the hardships of life. The difficult times are sent our way to help us learn and mature so that our blessings will be multiplied. When I think from that perspective, I am content with where I'm at and sincerely thankful...for the good and the bad, the roses and the thorns.
